Visionary Mr. Bipin Bihari Dasmohapatra founded APIL in 2008 in Nashik, Maharashtra. Along with his competent leadership team, he transformed APIL.

As a multi-product and multi-location organization, we place immense importance on supply chain management. The strategic sourcing department at the corporate level plays a pivotal role in driving and evolving our supply chain strategy. This department is responsible for evaluating, selecting, and managing our partnerships with suppliers.The strategic sourcing team coordinates the material requirements of each plant, collaborates with vendors, and establishes a unified supply chain policy.
Building long-term relationships with our vendors is a key focus for us. To streamline communication and collaboration, we provide vendors with access to our unified vendor self-service software, which facilitates digital interaction with our organization.
We prioritize environmental consciousness and require our vendors to adhere to the same standards. We are seeking cost-effective and high-quality suppliers to support our manufacturing facilities.

Our management was the first to conceptualize and manufacture the 11 kV Automatic Power Factor Control (APFC) Panel, using Vacuum Contactor as the step switching, which underwent successful testing with Maharashtra DISCOM. Following this milestone, the panel was commercialized across India and has since become one of the most sought-after solutions for reactive power compensation.
The APFC panel featuring individual step protection was first conceptualized, designed, manufactured, and supplied by us, to achieve more precise reactive power compensation. This pioneering system enables partial compensation even when an individual step is defective. Inspired by its effectiveness, many industries are now adopting similar technologies to enhance operational reliability and efficiency.
We designed, manufactured, supplied medium voltage APFC Panel with in-build Vacuum Circuit Breaker (VCB), MVDry Shunt Capacitors and Iron-core de-tuned reactors.
We developed 11kV APFC panel with Iron-Core reactor with draw-out construction. The panel includes individual step protection for better efficiency and safety, manufactured in-house.
We are a vertically integrated company that designs and manufactures the majority of components required for our Power Quality Solutions. This comprehensive in-house capability not only ensures reliability and customization across all solution types, but also strengthens our competitiveness and agility in a dynamic industry landscape.
We are having smart electricity meters with Dual Redundant Dynamic Hybrid Communicative (DRDHC)technology in India. Our company offers a comprehensive Smart solution for managing Electricity, Water, and GAS services, through its software Utility Distribution Revenue Analytics & Management (UDReAM).
